Motherhood and Beyond

As the world knows, Steven Curtis Chapman lost his daughter, Maria in a tragic accident on May 21.  I have kept up with the story through his Manager, Jim Houser.  I have been amazed at the outpouring love from people all over the world.  In March, Craig and I made a spur of the moment trip to see SCC in concert in Chattanooga.  We had a great time.  The concert was only half full in a small auditorium.  It was a blessing to go and to hear him sing old songs, new songs, and most of all talk about his family and his ministry.  Craig posted about his concert on The Roundtable.  Please continue to keep this family in your prayers.  We cannot even imagine what they are going through.  I encourage you to read through Jim’s blog post regarding the accident and the days following.  I was tremendously encouraged by his post, “Ever Heard an Invisible Voice?”.  This shows how God speaks in the heaviest moments.
