Motherhood and Beyond

I guess you can see that this is my first blog post.  Craig was instrumental in setting this up for me.  I kept telling him that I have nothing to write about.  Then as I began to think, I realized that I had several things that I could write.  I will not post everyday.  Just as things come up.  I don’t want every post to be all about me and my life.  I hope to put up different recipes that I find interesting or worth a try.  Let me know if you like them.  As for now, enjoy looking around at different links and the photo gallery. 

 A quick word about the pictures….Craig and I were fortunate enough to go Hawaii last year with his company.  We enjoyed seeing many of the attractions as well as sitting on the beach and by the pool everyday.  The joy of the pool boy calling you, “Mrs. Thomas”.  There are several pages of pictures from that trip.

The land pictures…we bought a piece of property in Maryville in April.  We are so excited to have it and very fortunate.  As many of you know land is not cheap and is scarce.  We plan on building in about 2 years.  As for now, we have fun cleaning it up and enjoying the quietness.

Cades Cove…these are random pictures Craig took when my parents came to see us at Mother’s Day.  Cades Cove is about 30 minutes from us and a neat place to picnic and visit.
