Motherhood and Beyond

I guess every new mother goes through the anxieties of giving birth after attending childbirth class.  Yep…I am anxious and a little overwhelmed.  Craig and I went to this class Friday night and part of Saturday.  I have to say, it was very informative and not a dull moment.  I did learn a lot and probably saw more than I wanted to. Lets just say this, when the instructor said the video on birthing was something you would see on Discovery Channel…IT WAS NOTHING I HAD SEE ON DISCOVERY CHANNEL!  Who in their right mind would allow someone to film this for educational purposes?  Who wants the world to see them in this condition?  And please tell me what channel the Discovery Channel is for you?  My Discovery Channel is “Dirty Jobs”, “Deadliest Catch” etc.  I guess this could be considered a dirty job!  I have to say, that I was taken back and had to find a focal point in the room when I just could not take it anymore.  But, we made it through.  We learned the breathing techniques and the stages of labor.  All I have to say is, please pray for us.  I am trying to decide if I want to do this natural or give me the epidural.  Part of me wants the natural way.  It will be a game time decision!
