Less than 4 weeks and counting…

They say the last few weeks drag by slowly.  Okay, they do.  But that is okay.  As I told someone earlier today, it has been pure joy being pregnant but I am ready to be done with it.  The last three weeks have been a little more difficult. My feet and hands are starting to swell.  I can’t get my wedding rings on so I put on a pearl ring that I bought in China.  It has turned my finger green.  Those darn Chinese!  The doctors say put your feet up above your heart at night…one problem, heartburn!  So it is not a win win situation.  Again, I don’t complain.  This has been easier than I expected and easier than some of the horror stories I have heard.  Doctors are thinking this baby will be about 7 pounds or a little over.  Last night I decided to go ahead and wash the baby clothes and blankets.  How do you fold something that small?  I guess that was a very surreal moment.

We have birthing classes Friday night and Saturday morning…I am sure I will have lots to say about that.  Craig will be a great coach!

How exciting! I didn’t realize it was so close.

So, do you think Craig will try to drag you and the new baby down to the Clemson v Alabama game? Ha!

Well I hope we get to see you this year. I know it will be hard with a little one, but let us know if you decide to come down to G-Vegas!

Yeah, we are sitting out the Alabama game. I am not up for that in Atlanta. Otherwise, we should be at the others! But, things can change.

    Hey Jenny -
I totally remember the swelling and heartburn in the last couple days. It is amazing how right after the baby is born all of it goes away including the urge to use the restroom every 30 minutes! :) I hope that you have a very safe, smooth delivery! Can’t wait to find out if it’s a boy or girl!!
    Love, Meredith

Yay for only 4 more weeks. It does drag by in the end. But enjoy doing things with Craig. Stay up late, sleep late in the mornings. Go out to eat. Life will change soon! Love you!!
