A note from Mom:

Thank you so much for all the comments and encouragement upon the arrival of Ellie.  We are beyond thrilled and overwhelmed with love for her.  She has already brought joy to our lives.  I look at her and wonder how so many people can neglect their child.  I just don’t understand.  We look forward to many fun days ahead.

She has been doing great.  Last night was her first night of “I am not going to sleep for you”.  About 3 a.m. she settled down and has been asleep.  Any of you mothers out there have any tips on what to do?  I am wondering if she has her days and nights mixed up.  I also have to remember she is only four days old.  We are learning together.

Craig has been nothing but wonderful!  He was great in the delivery and walked with me every step.  I could not have been more proud and blessed to have him help me through it.  He has been great with Ellie.  He changes her and rocks her.  He has done so much.

Thanks again for all the prayers.  Please check out the pictures under the Eliana Album.  We will add more pictures as put them up.

I am not a mother but I can tell you that a new mom needs to try and establish a routine. You and Ellie can work that out together, and try to rest when she does or you will be WIPED OUT. You may have to record your favorite show(s) for awhile until her tummy is big enough to hold enough food to sleep through the night. Babies are tiring, but nothing could be more worth it.

    Congratulations!
