Reading the whole Bible

Over Christmas we were in Washington, GA with my family.  While there we attended church with my parents.  We have a new preacher and he was quite good.  (What defines a good preacher?)  Anyway, he had lots of passion as mama would say.  He challenged the congregation to read the Bible in its entirity for 2009.  I have to say, I have started this a couple of times but never went through with the whole thing.  As I left, I thought about the times that I had started but quit for some reason.  Usually an excuse of not enough time, I forgot, or too much information to obtain.  At lunch, my dad had mentioned that he would like to do it.  He also said that he had started and also fallen down on the task.  When Craig and I got back to TN we were talking about it and Craig challenged me to do it with Daddy and we could keep each other accountable.  (Craig is already doing an intense bible study with BSF.)  So I talked to Daddy and he had already started but was excited that I would do that with him.  So for now, I am keeping up and actually enjoying it.  My Navigator Bible Study leader from Clemson had given me a Bible called Seasons of Reflection.  This is a 365 Day reading guide.  I am in for the challenge….
